1 - The beach of Pietracorbara
Only 20 km from Bastia, its very large sandy beach will appeal to the young and old alike. Ideal for families, it offers numerous parking spaces close to the beach. You will be able to spend pleasant holidays thanks to the various activities offered: boat trips, towed buoys... and several local shops (boutiques, straw huts...).

2 - Tamarone beach
2.5 km north of Macinaggio, in the commune of Rogliano, lies the beach of Tamarone at the end of a small dirt road. You will be conquered by its clear and deep waters.
From the car park at the end of the port of Macinaggio, follow the customs path which will lead you to the beach of Tamarone. This reserve also includes the Finocchiarola islands which border the coast.
Approximately 500 metres of sand (rare at Cap Corse) lies in this paradise bay.
Please note that no nautical activities are offered on this beach. On the other hand, in summer, you will be able to eat at the edge of the beach in the straw hut of U Paradisu. Traditional Corsican cuisine will be served while listening to Corsican songs during the summer evenings. This restaurant is a key point: indeed, many hikers are passing through after their excursion along the customs path.

3 - The beach of Barcaggio
Barcaggio is a charming little port located at the tip of Cap Corse.
We can say that the beach of Barcaggio is located between sea and scrubland.
It's a ten-minute walk to get there.
The shallow sea makes this beach ideal for children and the water is 25°C in summer. Be sure to bring your sun protection as there is very little shade.
You will be surprised by the wildness of the area and you will probably meet some unusual and harmless guests: the famous Barcaggio cows which also enjoy the beach.
In front of you you can admire the island of Giraglia, the northernmost point of Corsica. The place is simply heavenly.

4 - Giottani beach
Let's continue to visit the Cap Corse with Giottani beach which is located in the navy of the same name 15 km north of Nonza. On the left, you can see a stream flowing into the sea.
This beautiful bay is a public beach with pebbles and gravel. There is a pontoon and beach huts next to the tiny harbour.
The number of visitors remains fairly low even in summer. Please note that it is not suitable for young children.
In the village there are a few restaurants and it is possible to practice water sports.

5 - Albo beach
Avec sa couleur des plus étonnantes, la plage d’Albo ne laisse personne indifférent !
The dark colour of these shale pebbles highlights the turquoise of its shoreline.
Located north of Nonza, the beach of Albo offers a long, wide stretch of shingle (about 300 metres long and up to 200 metres wide in places).
This beach is well known for board sports when the sea is rough (which is often the case). Swimming is also possible when the sea is calm.
There are many restaurants in the vicinity.
Depuis St Florent, il vous faudra environ 15 min de trajet en voiture.

The beach of Nonza is without doubt the most original beach on the west coast of Corsica. Situated below the perched village of Nonza, access is via a staircase from the village. More than 500 steps will be necessary to reach this beach.
Find no less than 1.4 km of small grey and black gravels which make up one of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Corsica. This coating comes from a former asbestos extraction factory in Canari which was closed in 1965. But rest assured, no risk has been detected.
La meilleure façon de contempler la plage de Nonza n’est pas d’y poser sa serviette et de faire voler son drône, mais bien de grimper sur le piton rocheux qui la surplombe. La couleur de l’eau change également en fonction de la météo. Vraiment un endroit à voir et revoir en Corse.

7 - The beach of Farinole
The pretty village of Farinole is perched near Patrimonio and about 10 km north of the town of Saint-Florent.
Two beaches await you: one pebbled and the other sandy. The latter is the only beach on the west coast of the Cap Corse to be sandy.
Facilement accessibles et adaptées pour toute la famille. Mais attention, la baignade peut vite devenir dangereuse par grand vent !
La plage de Farinole est une destination agréable dans un cadre verdoyant. Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature et les adeptes de la marche.
